Discovery Bay Winter Wonderland: A Dreamy Trip to Italy

This festive season, Discovery Bay warmly invites you on a magical journey to Italy, adorned with breath-taking decorations that capture the essence of the country’s legendary architectural wonders. Experience the transformation of the DB North Tower, which mirrors the grandeur of the Basilica Santa Maria della Salute. Drawing inspiration from its exquisite Baroque style, the decorations highlight the iconic dome of the Salute, a defining feature of the Venetian skyline. In the foreground, a charming gondola glides gracefully on a simulated Canal Grande. The fusion of the Salute's dome and the canal-themed decor creates a captivating Venetian ambiance, inviting visitors to immerse themselves in the romance and beauty of Venice right here at Discovery Bay.

At DB Plaza, visitors will be greeted by a stunning recreation of Rome's iconic Colosseum, elegantly illuminated at the entrance. At the heart of this installation stands a majestic five-meter-tall Christmas tree, resplendent with glittering ornaments and shimmering lights. This vibrant tableau melds the majesty of ancient Rome with the joyous spirit of the holiday season.

To elevate the festive atmosphere, DB North Plaza and DB Plaza, along with their promenades, will be beautifully illuminated with festive lighting, casting a spellbinding radiance that shimmers with a celestial quality. Every evening, the plaza will come alive with dazzling light projections, offering the perfect backdrop for creating unforgettable moments with loved ones amidst the enchanting Italian-inspired decorations.

To kick off the festive activities and illuminate the decorations, a lighting ceremony will take place on 22 November at DB North Plaza. This captivating evening will feature a colourful parade, complete with a marching band serenading guests with beloved Christmas melodies, a jolly Santa Claus engaging with attendees, exquisite Italian masquerade dancers, and breath-taking acrobatic performances on stage. The festivities will culminate in a spectacular light display and an enchanting snowfall, promising a memorable experience for everyone.


Sip and Celebrate! Discovery Bay’s Christmas Wine Walk at DB North

Immerse yourself in the festive spirit at the inaugural open-air Christmas Wine Walk, taking place in DB North from 13 to 15 December! Experience the magic of the season as the area transforms with charming Italian-style wooden huts and enchanting Christmas lighting, creating a romantic holiday ambiance.  Explore over 30 carefully curated stalls featuring an exquisite selection of international fine wines, gourmet treats, Christmas-themed shops, and exceptional local crafts.

Wine pass holders can enjoy exceptional wines and gourmet delicacies, making this a must-visit event for anyone wishing to celebrate the festive spirit. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Wai Yin Association, allowing guests to partake in the joyous celebrations while supporting a noble cause.
