The 4th Discovery Bay Open Water Race Challenge is set to make waves on Sunday, 30 August 2026. This event promises an exhilarating day of competitive and family-friendly swimming against the stunning backdrop of Discovery Bay’s picturesque coastlines.
Open to swimmers of all ages and abilities, the event features a variety of races, including 3.8km, 1.7km, and 400m solo races, as well as 400m relay races. Starting points will set at Tai Pak Beach, San Pak Wan, and the Disneyland Resort Pier while finishing at Tai Pak Peach, offering participants breathtaking views of Discovery Bay’s unique coastlines and natural beauty. The overall Male and Female Champions of the 3.8km and 1.7km races will each receive a grand prize: a complimentary night’s stay at the Auberge Discovery Bay Hong Kong.
Online registration is now open. Final registration closes on 25 August 2026 (18:00).
