DB Nature Photography Hiking Tour
Date:	13 October 2024 (Sun)
Time:	9:30am – 12:30pm
Route:	Mui Wo Pier > Our Lady of Joy Abbey > Nim Shue Wan >Discovery Bay
Details：	Guided by wildlife photographer James Kwok, the tour will start at Mui Wo Pier. Participants will then walk along Silver Mine Bay Beach, pass through the tree-lined path to Our Lady of Joy Abbey, and finally reach Discovery Bay via Nim Shue Wan, covering a total distance of approximately seven kilometres. Throughout the journey, James will share tips on bird-watching and observing various species, as well as share his extensive knowledge and techniques in capturing the natural beauty and ecology through photography. (Quota: 20 pax) About James Kwok / Wildlife Photographer & Documentary Producer James Kwok has been observing and photographing the local ecology since he was young. Studying environmental science in university has allowed him to more professionally explore and document the rich biodiversity in Hong Kong.

2024 Discover the Nature - Autumn Rewards Terms & Conditions
1. Promotion period lasts from 14 Sep to 20 Oct 2024.
2. Upon same-day spending of HK$600 or above, with a maximum of 2 receipts from different merchants, each receipt with spending HK$100 or above, by electronic payment from merchants in DB Plaza, DB North Plaza, or D’Deck (except for 7-Eleven, Circle K, fusion by PARKnSHOP, Market Place and IKEA), and follow @VisitDiscoveryBay official Facebook or Instagram account, customer is entitled to redeem a set of limited edition DB shopping bag and eternity pencil.
3. Customer must present valid receipts in person at the G/F Concierge of DB Plaza between 12noon to 9pm on the same day of spending. Only redemption on the day of spending is accepted.
4. Gifts are available on a first-come, first-served basis while stocks last, and the redemption will be terminated accordingly without prior notice.
5. Each set of eligible sales receipt and corresponding electronic payment receipt can only be used to redeem gifts for once, and cannot be used in conjunction with other promotions or offers (including the Dine ‘N Ride Offer).
6. Customers must present the original same-day machine-printed receipts and the electronic payment receipts issued by designate merchants during the promotion period for the gift redemption. Handwritten receipts or standalone credit card sales slips will NOT be accepted.
7. The redemption is valid only for electronic payments by Octopus card, credit card, cash dollar, debit card, EPS, UnionPay card, Alipay, Apple Pay, BoC Pay, Google Pay, PayMe, Samsung Pay, Tap & Go, and WeChat Pay. Other modes of payment, including cash, cash coupons, merchant stored-value cards or membership points, mall coupons, or merchant coupons, will NOT be accepted. Discovery Bay Commercial Services Limited reserves the right to request Alipay, Apple Pay, BoC Pay, Google Pay, PayMe, Samsung Pay, Tap & Go, and WeChat Pay users to open the corresponding mobile apps for photo record and verification purposes.
8. Applicable transactions do NOT include purchase of prepaid shopping vouchers/cards, purchase of gift vouchers/ merchant vouchers/ cash coupons, purchase of classes, utility bill payments, online purchases, telecommunications services, transaction of casual leasing activities, Octopus automatic add-value service amounts or transactions, or any value-added-to or transactions by stored-value cards.
9. Receipts that are re-printed, re-issued, duplicated, or copied will not be accepted. Damaged or altered receipts will be voided.
10. All receipts used to redeem the gift shall be stamped as proof of successful redemption and cannot be redeemed again.
11. No return and/or refund will be accepted once the gift has been redeemed. The gift is not transferable or redeemable/exchangeable for cash, other goods, services or products. Gift photo is for reference only.
12. The redeemed gift will not be replaced if lost, damaged or stolen, and Discovery Bay Commercial Services Limited shall not be liable for these incidents.
13. Staff of Discovery Bay merchants are not allowed to redeem the gift for themselves or on behalf of customers.
14. Unless stipulated by law, Discovery Bay Commercial Services Limited shall not be liable in any way to any person for any personal injury, loss or damage (whether directly, indirectly or otherwise) arising from the use of the redeemed gift.
15. In case of unforeseeable situation, adverse weather conditions, Black Rainstorm Signal/Typhoon Signal No.8 or above are hoisted, operation of the Concierge of DB Plaza and the redemption will be suspended. Opening hours are subject to change without prior notice.
16. Discovery Bay Commercial Services Limited reserves the right to end or extend the above redemption programme and/or to modify, revise or change any of these terms and conditions at any time without any prior notice and without incurring any liability to any party whatsoever. In case of any disputes, the decisions of Discovery Bay Commercial Services Limited shall remain final.
17. In the case of any conflict or inconsistency between the English and Chinese versions of these terms and conditions, the English version shall prevail.
