1) Perfect romantic experience with special Continental-style flower arrangements (from January 8^th 2020 until February 16^th 2020)

This year’s Valentine’s Day is close to the Lantern Festival and Discovery Bay is creating a special East meets West experience with a series of special, romantic floral installations that reflect the island’s unique Southern European charm. 

a) D’Deck Waterfront Promenade Valentine’s Day decoration—Flower Tunnel

Visitors to the Discovery Bay Pier will be greeted by a flower tunnel at the waterfront promenade. The tunnel features romantic pink flowers and flapping butterflies that symbolise the life of Spring. This is the perfect photo spot for capturing romantic moments.

b) Fantastic pumpkin coach + Love Lock Promenade

The Love Lock Promenade at DB North is a hot spot for lovebirds. This year, Discovery Bay has decorated the Love Lock Promenade with colourful flowers and arranged an all-white crystal pumpkin coach to help you create romantic moments in a fairy-tale setting.

c) DB North Valentine’s Day installations

DB North will have two special romantic installations. The first is a spherical installation in front of the fountain that is decorated with beautiful flowers and colourful flapping butterfly patterns. Soft, atmospheric lighting adds an additional sweet touch, ensuring the perfect backdrop for photos.     

Another flower garden installation adds a sweet new chapter to your love story. Stand in the middle of the garden and be surrounded by hundreds of butterflies and Continental-style decorations. During the day, gentle sun ray gives the garden a poetic touch; whilst, at night, the special lighting creates a dreamy atmosphere.

2) Relive romantic moments with dining vouchers worth HK$100 (from now until February 14^th)

D’Deck and DB North offer a wide selection of international cuisine for visitors to choose from. During the promotional period, restaurants at these locations will offer special romantic set meals. A number of seaside restaurants will also be making special arrangements for couples to enjoy romantic moments with a beautiful 180^o view of the sea.

The dining voucher redemption is back by popular demand after a successful Christmas and will be available from now until Valentine’s Day. During the promotion period, visitors will receive meal vouchers worth HK$100, to be used for subsequent spending, when they make single dining spending of HK$880 or above

3) A romantic Valentine's Day Getaway filled with activities

a) Valentine’s Day activities around DB Plaza

• Giant Heart-shaped Candle at Tai Pak Beach (February 14^th 2020)

Tai Pak Beach will be lighted up by thousands of candles arranged in heart-shaped displays on Valentine’s Day for couples to capture their romantic moments.

On February 9^th, Discovery Bay will play host to Hong Kong’s largest open-air weekend market, with over 100 stalls. Enjoy a relaxing time looking through the handmade jewellery, eco-friendly clothing, flowers and other handicrafts created by local artists and creators, and pick a unique gift for your special someone.

In celebration of the Lantern Festival and Valentine’s Day, Discovery Bay has specially decorated the Love Lock Promenade with vibrant flowers and is helping couples to “lock” their love away with special Love Locks.

To redeem your complimentary limited edition love lock, simply ‘like’ the Visit Discovery Bay Facebook page and the Valentine’s Day promotional post, leave a comment on the post and tag three friends from 8^th – 9^th (Saturday and Sunday) and 14^th February. Lovers can then write down their names on the padlock and lock it to the railings of the Love Lock Promenade, symbolising their everlasting love for each other.

Café bord de Mer & Lounge will give a festive boost to its Valentine’s Day Set Dinner on 14^th February 2020. At HK$1,588* for two persons, it offers a selection of scrumptious dishes ranging from Sea Urchin and Soft Quail Egg Capellini Pasta with Caviar Cream Sauce to Grilled Black Angus Filet Mignon with Sesame Sauce and Red Wine Foam. A complimentary Romance Delight will be presented to simulate the romantic atmosphere.

• Valentine’s Day Afternoon Tea

5) Transportation Tips

Upon dine-in consumption of every HK$120 at any of the designated D’Deck or DB North restaurants⁴ and presentation of the original on-day receipt for validation at “Dine ‘N Ride Service Counter” to enjoy a Free Ride back to town on the same day⁴.

b) Bus Interchange Discount by DB North

DB North offers a Bus Interchange Discount⁵ when departing from DB North to Sunny Bay, Tung Chung or DB Bus Terminus.
