Mark your calendars for the return of the beloved annual family event in Discovery Bay – the “Discovery Bay Easter Egg Hunt & Carnival”, taking place over the Easter public holidays from 3 to 4 April 2026 (Friday and Saturday). This year marks the 19th edition of the event, promising classic beachside fun as children embark on a quest to uncover colourful Easter eggs. Inviting all children aged 3 to 10, the event encourages a spirit of exploration at the picturesque Tai Pak Beach of Discovery Bay, with the opportunity for each discovered egg to redeem prize. With over 50,000 delightful prizes and special grand prizes amounting to a value of over HK$1 million prepared for all participants, every child is sure to leave with a smile!
To make Easter holiday more exciting, Discovery Bay is transformed into an epic inflatable playground during the event until 6 April 2026. The “DB Plaza Inflatable Funland” will feature giant bouncy castles and inflatable game booths, where children holding a valid “Egg Hunt Pass” can enjoy. The DB North Plaza will become a “Giant Easter Eggs Funland” with charming inflatable egg displays perfect for family photos. The Toscana Sales Gallery will also feature a “Collage Easter Egg Lab” & “Easter Egg Art Studio” offering free participation for everyone over the two-day event. This year's “Egg Hunt Combo Pass” also includes a HK$100 Discovery Bay cash voucher, good for enjoying at our alfresco and international dining spots. Discovery Bay Easter Egg Hunt on the Beach & Carnival
The “Discovery Bay Easter Egg Hunt & Carnival” spans two days on 3 and 4 April 2026, with Egg Hunters divided into different age groups: 3-4 years old (accompanied by an adult guardian), 5-6 years old, and 7-10 years old. Upon arrival, each participant receives a Welcome Goodies Bag containing egg-hunting tools and souvenirs. Every Easter egg found at the beach can be exchanged for a Small Egg Prize, while discovering a Grand Egg offers a chance to win a Special Grand Prize valued at over HK$1,000! Additionally, all Egg Hunters will receive a Certificate of Excellence as a cherished keepsake.

Participants are encouraged to take the ferry to and from Discovery Bay, as it offers the fastest, most comfortable, and most convenient route from the city centre.
In addition to regular paid bus services, a complimentary shuttle bus^ service will run from Sunny Bay to DB Plaza exclusively for families holding a valid Egg Hunt Pass or Egg Hunt Combo Pass. This service will operate at designated times on the event days, 3 and 4 April 2026. (^Seats are limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.)
