(Hong Kong, 29 Sep 2025) Hong Kong Resort Company Limited (Hong Kong Resort) is thrilled to announce a series of exciting activities to celebrate this year's Halloween! DB Plaza and DB North Plaza will be adorned with Spooky lighting and decorations, creating mysterious photo spots! Parents and Children looking to join the festive fun shouldn't miss the annual "Discovery Bay Halloween Night Market”, which will feature around 60 unique stalls offering handcrafts, Halloween-themed accessories, and pet decorations! This year, Discovery Bay will also host the “Hallo-Woof Runway” Pet Costume Contest. Pet owners are welcome to register online to participate in this fun costume competition with their adorable furry friends, celebrating Halloween together!

Trick or Treat: Four Spooky Photo Spots for Familes and Friends
This Halloween, Discovery Bay will be transformed into a "Haunted Manor," inviting everyone to experience the enchanting charm of the festival! Walk through the shimmering illuminated archway and step into the mysterious garden to search for the traces of the "Naughty Ghost". The light installations will create a fantastical and eerie atmosphere, while the fountains at DB Plaza and DB North Plaza will be decorated with spooky pumpkins and mischievous little ghosts in various outfitss!
 
Additionally, the DB North Clock Tower will reveal a surprise: a special eight-metre tall giant spider web photo spot, complemented by seven glowing spiders that create a stunning visual effect.
 
No Halloween celebration is complete without Trick or Treat! On 26 October (Sunday) and 31 October(Friday) during designated times, join us for a "No Tricks, Just Treat!" session offering festive surprises! Simply present a screenshot that shows you have like or followed @VisitDiscoveryBay on Facebook or Instagram to the on-site staff to receive a special gift. Both kids and adults are encouraged to dress up in Halloween costumes to add to the joyful atmosphere.

Step into the Spotlight on the Hallo-Woof Runway! Don’t Miss Training Tips from Certified Dog Trainer!
Dress up your adorable furry friend in the most creative Halloween costume and join us for this pet extravaganza! To participate in the "Hallo-Woof Runway", simply submit online a cute photo of your dog in a Halloween costume. The finalists will take to the stylish petwalk stage at DB Plaza on 26 October, showcasing their cute outfits as the star of the Halloween celebration.
 
The champion will win a prize package worth over HK$4,000, which includes a one-night accommodation in an Ocean View room with breakfast for two at Auberge Discovery Bay Hong Kong, a Pet Space Gold Gift Box, and a VERVVE Petwear Giftset along with an electronic gift voucher! Mr. Howard Lam, a Certified Dog Trainer (CCPDT, USA) from Modern Dog Training, will also be on-site as a judge and share practical tips to help paw-rents and their furry friends showcase the best teamwork.

On 26 October, explore the European-style Halloween Night Market at DB Plaza! The market will feature around 60 unique stalls, offering exquisite handmade items and charmingly spooky Halloween-themed decorations! Enjoy live performances by a roving magician, perfect for capturing memorable photos. Whether you're with family or bringing your furry friends along, everyone can fully immerse themselves in this one-of-a-kind Halloween Night Market experience and create unforgettable memories!

Halloween Spending Rewards: Workshop, Face-painting, Instant Photo Service and Pumpkin Maze
D’Deck, the waterfront outdoor dining area, along with DB Plaza and DB North Plaza, features a variety of restaurants and retail shops, where you can indulge in delicious food while shopping! On 26 October (Sunday), Discovery Bay presents exclusive Halloween Spending Rewards including Halloween workshops, face painting, instant photo services, and a giant inflatable maze, perfect for families to enjoy together.
 
By spending a designated amount at eligible Discovery Bay merchants and follow @VisitDiscoveryBay on social media, you can redeem one of the specified experience activities. Limited spaces available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Discovery Bay Pet Bus and Playground for Furry friends
To facilitate pet owners bringing their pets to Discovery Bay for Halloween activities, the "Discovery Bay Pet Bus" service will operate on 26 October. The pet bus features two dedicated routes connecting several areas: one from Tseung Kwan O via Kai Tak, and another from Tuen Mun via Tsuen Wan West to Discovery Bay. With a valid electronic ticket for the Pet Bus, pet owners can hop on and off at designated stations of the same bus route on the same day.
 
A special area for pets will be set up on the lawn outside DB Plaza with toys for play. Pet owners can engage in training games with their furry friends at the pet zone.

DB Ice Rink “SCREAM SKATE” Halloween Ice Party
Get ready to unleash your inner ghost at Scream Skate, the spooktacular Halloween ice party coming to DB Ice Rink on Sunday, 26 October! We're offering two thrilling sessions: 1:30pm–4:00pm and 4:30pm–7:00pm. Regular tickets are priced at HK$95 per person, but come dressed in your shinest Halloween outfits and enjoy a special walk-in rate of just HK$75. All participants will receive a ghoulishly delightful Halloween gift and can join our “Trick or Treat” game for extra fun and prizes. Peony Chinese Restaurant offers two special Halloween dim sum for celebration of our favourite spooky festival – Steamed Skull (Sweet Purple Potato) Bun and Steamed Monster Eye (Seafood) Dumpling to add to the atmosphere of Halloween. Steamed Skull Bun is a soft, pillowy bun shaped like a spooky skull, filled with luscious sweet purple potato while Steamed Monster Eye Dumpling is frightfully fun dumpling crafted to resemble a monster’s eye, bursting with seafood flavour.
