(Hong Kong, 26 May 2025) As an integrated resort-style residential community and Hong Kong’s first “Eco-friendly Community”, Discovery Bay (“DB”) has been developed by Hong Kong Resort Company Limited (“HKR”) for nearly 50 years. Recently, DB has launched the DB2.0 blueprint and implemented a series of measures to enhance various facilities. DB has consistently advocated for the creation of a pet-friendly community, featuring shopping malls which welcome pets and provide pet facilities. In May, the first DB Pet Bus service was successfully introduced, connecting various areas of Hong Kong, including Tseung Kwan O, Kai Tak, Tuen Mun, and Tsuen Wan West to Discovery Bay. Starting on June 8, the service will also extend to include a stop at DB North Plaza and Auberge Discovery Bay Hong Kong, making it easier for pet owners to travel between the city and Discovery Bay with their pets.
DB Pet Bus Service introduce new bus stop at DB North Plaza and Auberge Discovery Bay Hong Kong from 8 Jun
The "DB Pet Bus" will continue to operate during the upcoming Sunday markets on 8 June, 14 September, and 12 October. It features two dedicated routes connecting several areas in Hong Kong: from Tseung Kwan O via Kai Tak and from Tuen Mun via Tsuen Wan West to Discovery Bay.
To assist pet owners in visiting the many pet-friendly attractions in Discovery Bay, such as Central Park, DB North Clock Tower, Love Lock Promenade, and The Pavilion, the service will add a stop at DB North Plaza and Auberge Discovery Bay Hong Kong starting from 8 June. With a valid electronic ticket for the Pet Bus, pet owners can hop on and off at designated stations of the same bus route on the same day.

The DB Sunday Market will transform into a night market on 8 June, operating from 2pm to 9pm at DB Plaza. Approximately 60 vendors will showcase handmade crafts, unique gifts, and a diverse range of pet products and services, appealing to families and animal lovers alike.
A designated area for pets will be set up on the lawn outside DB Plaza, complete with toys for play. This pet zone will allow pet owners to engage in training games with their furry friends.
Special Privileges for Pet Bus Ticket Holders and Free Professional Photoshoot Service upon Designated Spending
The waterfront dining area, D’Deck, features pet-friendly restaurants with outdoor seating. Pet owners can savour delicious meals while enjoying stunning sea views alongside their furry friends, creating a relaxed experience in Discovery Bay. Additionally, passengers of the Pet Bus can receive exclusive discounts by presenting their electronic tickets at designated merchants on the same day. Present your pet bus electronic ticket and follow @VisitDiscoveryBay on social media to redeem a free gift at the concierge on 8 June. Each person is limited to one redemption. Gifts are available on a first-come, first-served basis while stocks last. Customer must present valid DB pet bus electronic ticket in person at the G/F Concierge of DB Plaza between 12noon to 9pm on 8 June 2025.
