HKR International Limited ("HKRI") proudly presents the Discovery Bay Christmas Wine Walk, a one-of-a-kind Christmas event that promises to enchant visitors. This festive celebration features an Italian-style winter wonderland, complete with captivating Christmas decorations, artificial snowfall spectacles, dazzling lights, and a variety of exciting activities. The highlight of the event is the inaugural outdoor Christmas Wine Walk at Discovery Bay North, showcasing over 30 carefully curated stalls offering wines and delicacies from around the world. Guests can indulge in a delightful culinary experience while exploring Christmas-themed handmade boutique stalls for one-of-a-kind gift ideas. With its warm and festive atmosphere, this event is perfect for families and friends to enjoy together. Additionally, a portion of the proceeds from the Discovery Bay Christmas Wine Walk will benefit the Wai Yin Association, allowing attendees to celebrate the season while supporting a charitable cause. The event will feature approximately 10 stalls offering a diverse array of Italian-related products, including authentic Italian wines, olive oil, pasta, and more, creating a unique shopping experience for food enthusiasts. Notably, two social enterprises, FairTaste and JOL Cacao, will participate, with FairTaste unveiling its new Christmas edition product: Organic Gingerbread Cashew Brittle.
In addition to supporting local businesses, this event promotes social responsibility and sustainable development. Among the participating local merchants are Auberge Discovery Bay Hong Kong, the Korean restaurant JOO Korean Grill & Bar, HoWong Brewing, which specialises in Hong Kong-made mead. Also joining the lineup is Sake Aroma, a Japanese sake store known for its creative sake mixology, including Christmas mulled sake, as well as Rachel’s Kitchen, renowned for its exquisite pastries and desserts. Whether you're a fan of Italian culture or searching for high-quality, unique products, this event is a must-visit.
In addition to the exquisite food and wine offerings, the event will showcase live performances by the band The Flame, who will be busking throughout all three days. Their captivating music will elevate the festive atmosphere, creating a lively and engaging experience for all attendees. Guests can savour authentic Italian cuisine and fine wines while enjoying the vibrant sounds of live performances, making this celebration of food and music an unforgettable experience for everyone.
On the day of the event, wine tasting passes will be available for purchase on-site. Pass holders will receive an elegant wine glass and a glass holder, along with three tokens for redeeming wine or food. These tokens can be used at participating stalls to enjoy a selection of designated wines or dishes, allowing attendees to fully immerse themselves in the culinary offerings of the event.
